Hunger for a "mom"

We all hunger for something - we all need to be fed. Maybe we hunger for love and affection or attention and need to be fed emotionally. Maybe our hunger is for more of God - to feel a real closeness to God. Maybe it's just a simple physical hunger - a need to be fed. It's so amazing that many I come across just hunger for a real "mom" - an ideal of someone who loves no matter what, will guide, direct, pray, help and encourage. MamaDana will encourage, guide, pray, feed you and love you!

I am Glad my Bike was Stolen...

Bennett introduced us - her dad is unknown, her mom smokes crack and "K" has been on her own since 16? 17? Now 21, she shares that her struggles are so hard, she is overwhelmed, wants her GED, has dreams of going to college, but now in her day to day survival, it seems just a dream, never to be attained. I tell her I will help - I will pray - I will love her.

Her only transportation to work, a bicycle, was stolen. I found a nice used bike on craigslist and got it to her in 2 days! To God be the Glory! Her response - I am glad my bike was stolen. I know that God is using that so I can have good influences in my life. I am so excited! Thank you so much!..."K"
